Vacation Rental, Bucerias, Mexico!
My husband, Mike, and I recently purchased what will be our retirement home (someday!) and are pleased to offer it as a vacation rental in the interim.
Casa Flamingos Feliz - "Home of the Happy Flamingo"The casa is located a mere 2 short blocks off the beach in Bucerias and has two spacious bedrooms, one with a king bed and two twin beds in the other, two bathrooms with showers, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and living room with TV.
The casa enjoys a nice sea breeze, and has ceiling fans, air conditioning (if needed), twice-a-week maid service, is completely equipped with linens, iron, beach towels, hair dryer, kitchen staples, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, blender, bottled water, and the barbeque is out back!
Currency exchange, galleries, shopping, and some of the best restaurants in town are within a few short blocks!Sue, our property manager, will meet and greet you at the house with the keys. Your names, phone numbers and flight info and any special requests will need to be communicated to her. She will show you how everything works and answer any questions you may have.
About Bucerias
Located a short 12-mile cab ride north of Puerto Vallarta is the beach village of Bucerias - "place of the divers". The town square, dominated by its large whitewashed church and spire, is the cultural and religious hub of Bucerias. It is also the center of businesses in the town square. The taxi stand and school are nearby, as are any number of small shops, storefront merchants, and street vendors. The ice cream stand is especially popular at nighttime, as are the string of open-air and patio restaurants and bars along the beachfront.
Walking along the beach and cobblestone streets in Bucerias is quite safe, day or night; the residents welcome the courteous traveler, and will shyly say "hola" as they pass you on the street. The water in Bucerias is “purified” and also quite safe. However, bottled water is also available at Casa Flamingos Feliz for your convenience.
Bucerias is on mountain time, but often goes by Puerto Vallarta time (Central) which is a 2 hour difference from Pacific Time.
Things to Do
The nine-mile white sand beach area is the perfect place for windsurfing, snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, surfing, walking, jogging and swimming. Golf and Bay/Deep Sea fishing are nearby. Horseback riding, parasailing and other activities are a short distance down the beach. Tours can be arranged by Scott, the “Vallarta Travel Advisor” either online (www.buceriastours.com), or visit him at his location just before the footbridge to town. You can book a Tequila Factories tour, tour Puerto Vallarta, go to San Blas and see the crocodiles, horseback ride, and go fishing to name just a few of his tours available. But one thing for sure, you’ll enjoy meeting and visiting with Scott who is known for his discount tours!

Each extra person is $10/night, maximum 3 extra people. A 50% deposit is due within 7 days of making reservation by cashier’s check, money order, personal check or Paypal. The balance is due 30 days before arrival. Cancellation Policy: 45 days notice to receive refund of deposit.
